Art and History (Unit Study of the Pilgrims) take their place in the same basic format as above. There is a small break between classes for socializing and play.
We will end the quarter on November 19 with a
Thanksgiving Feast and Presentation.
There are no class or supply fees at this time but a $15 registration fee is required upon enrollment unless you decide to teach a class (teacher incentive!). Bathrooms, a working kitchen, 13 acres of woods, a creek and bridges along with a large screened pavilion are provided.
It is very probably a winter and spring session will follow. We had 21 children and 12 parents attend the first day and wrapped up with a round of snacks and refreshments. We hope these classes will grow and I am on the lookout for an even bigger and better site so please let me know if your church might consider accommodating a big crowd. If you are interested in participating please call Corina Tweddle at 471-8920 or email me at Tweddle6@hotmail.com Your talents, creativity and involvement would be a blessing, so come out and join us, meet some new homeschoolers and enjoy this lovely fall weather.
